Following a difficult win against Rayo Vallecano, FC Barcelona will return to action in La Liga tonight, with a trip to the Canary Islands where they will face Las Palmas.

The team has already trained for this game, and the Catalans will be keen to get a win as they cannot afford to lose any points if they want to retain their position at the top of the table that they got only last week.

15 minutes of their training session today were open for media, and Mundo Deportivo made some observations in that time that hint at possible changes in the Blaugrana starting lineup for the game tonight.

While nothing has been made official yet, Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, and Fermin Lopez are expected to make their way into the starting lineup, with Hector Fort, Pau Cubarsi, and Gavi being dropped from the list that started against Rayo Vallecano.

This indication was obtained from a small two-sided game which took place after some warm-up exercises in a part of the Camp Tito Vilanova. One of the teams was fielded with vests, while the other was without vests, and normally, the players without vests are the ones that start an ensuing game.

In this training session open to the media, the three previously mentioned players, Kounde, Araujo, and Lopez, played without vests, along with other regular starters like Inigo Martinez and Alejandro Balde. The goalkeeper for this team was Inaki Pena, which is normal as the starting team usually faces Wojciech Szczesny during training sessions.

Thus, against Las Palmas, there would be one change in midfield, with Fermin Lopez replacing Gavi, who was cautioned in the last game. The rest of the Barcelona midfield and the forward line would remain the same, while the defence would see two changes, with Kounde and Araujo getting back into the starting lineup.
