It has certainly been a busy transfer window for clubs across League Two.
With the market having opened at the turn of the year, many sides have been taking the opportunity to try and further strengthen their squads, as they look to boost their hopes of either winning promotion, or avoiding relegation.
Even now, there is still almost two weeks remaining before the window closes, meaning there is still plenty of time for clubs to bring in new players to help their cause in the second half of the season.
So with that in mind, we’ve taken a look at some of the big transfer stories to have emerged from League Two recently, right here.
Bradford seal Clayton deal
One League Two side who have certainly been busy in this window are Bradford City, and that shows no sign of changing at the minute.
Earlier on Thursday, the Bantams confirmed the signing of midfielder Adam Clayton, who has joined from League Two rivals Doncaster Rovers on a free transfer, signing a contract until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who has previously turned out for the likes of Leeds, Huddersfield, Middlesbrough and Birmingham further up the pyramid, has become the club’s fifth summer signing.

Doncaster complete double defender deal
While they may have seen Clayton depart to Bradford, Doncaster have also been busy themselves in the past few hours of the market, completing two defensive signings.
Right-back James Brown, who spent the first half of the season on loan with another League Two side, Stockport County, has now joined on loan until the end of the season from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
Meanwhile, Leicester City centre back Ben Nelson has also joined on a temporary basis until the end of the campaign, having also spent the first half of this season in the fourth-tier, this time with Rochdale.
Another player who seems to be attacting interest from League Two this month, is Bristol Rovers’ Harvey Saunders.
The forward is out of contract at The Memorial Stadium in the summer, and has started just two league games for the Gas this season, which does appear to be attracting some, unsuccessful interest from elsewhere.
According to a report from Bristol Live, a number of League One and League Two clubs have made enquiries about a deal for Saunders, but have been knocked back by his current club, with Joey Barton apparently keen to keep the 25-year-old.
Garner seals Carlisle return
Sitting fourth in the League Two table, Carlisle have enjoyed an excellent season so far, and appear to have just given their promotion hopes a further boost, by securing the return to the club of Joe Garner.
The striker is no stranger to Carlisle, having previously scored 27 goals in 71 appearances for the club across three spells at Brunton Park earlier in his career.
Now it has been announced that the 34-year-old is back in Cumbria, after rejoining the club on a permanent transfer from Fleetwood Town, signing an 18-month contract that runs until the end of next season.
