Elsewhere, in rather eye-catching news, AFC Wimbledon have confirmed that they have received a club record fee for one of their players.
Indeed, as per South London Press, Ayoub Assal has completed his move to Qatar Stars League side Al-Wakrah.
Their report claims that the fee the club will receive for the player will be north of £1 million.
This is said to be a club record in the AFC Wimbledon era.
Assal, 20, scored five goals and grabbed two assists in 22 League Two appearances so far this season.
Last but not least, Rochdale have agreed a potentially exciting agreement ahead of their clash with Carlisle this weekend.
Indeed, former Manchester United prospect D’Mani Mellor has joined the League Two side from Wycombe Wanderers.
The 22-year-old joins the fourth tier strugglers on a loan deal.
Mellor has made 12 appearances for Wycombe this season, most of which came from the bench.
The youngster previously made a few appearances in League Two with Salford City in 2021/22 whilst on loan from the Red Devils.
