All 24 teams will no doubt be looking at getting deals over the line between now and the 31st of January with several having already been busy.

Sides at the top will be looking to add that key player who could make a difference between the playoffs and promotion, while teams near the bottom will be hoping fresh additions can steer them away from the relegation zone.

Here at FLW, we have looked at some of the transfer news that is going around in the division.

Millwall turn to QPR forward

QPR have rejected a £3 million bid from Millwall for striker Lyndon Dykes according to the Daily Mail.

The Scottish international has just 18 months left on his deal and is being scouted by a number of Championship clubs. Those include leaders Burnley and struggling Stoke City, who are both seemingly after a striker.

There have also previously been reports suggesting SPL side Rangers could look to sign Dykes, with plenty of clubs seemingly joining the queue to sign the target man.

However, it looks like Millwall could be leading the race for Dykes as they look to bolster their frontline after the departure of Benik Afobe.

Stoke City looking at West Brom forward

Tarique Fosu and Harry Clarke have been recalled by Brentford and Arsenal to join Rotherham United and Ipswich Town respectively. That has left Stoke incredibly light on the right-hand side with both players making 38 appearances between themselves.

However, it seems the Potters are looking at bolstering their forward line having reportedly submitted an enquiry for West Brom attacker Karlan Grant.

According to TEAMtalk, Stoke are interested in taking Grant on loan for the rest of the season as they look to add goals to their side amidst a potential relegation battle.

Grant has scored three goals in 20 appearances this season and is currently recovering from injury that has kept him out for several weeks.

Rotherham United boss Matt Taylor says the club have received no new transfer offers for Middlesbrough target Dan Barlaser this week, but couldn’t offer any guarantees that the midfielder would stay at the club this month.

A move could happen sooner rather than as that Barlaser is keen for a move closer to his family in the North East as well as having the chance to play under his boyhood idol Michael Carrick.
