You know Christmas is coming when we start getting midweek Premier League fixtures taking place.
There were two games to dive into tonight and you can follow them live here.
Scorers: Raphinha 90+3 (PEN).
Raphinha scored a dramatic stoppage-time penalty to earn Leeds a huge three points over Crystal Palace at Elland Road.
Christian Benteke spurned a golden chance to put the Eagles ahead in the 73rd minute when Wilfried Zahaâs cross picked him out at the far post but the Belgian striker headed just wide from six yards out.
The game looked to be heading for a draw before added time resulted in late drama.
Marc Guehi handled Liam Cooperâs header inside the box to gift the hosts a penalty after a lengthy VAR check.
Raphinha stepped up to place the ball past Vicente Guaita to earn Marcelo Bielsaâs side their first win in four games to move Leeds up to 15th in the table.
Palace remain in 12th after a second successive defeat.
Scorers: Wilson (PEN) 61âČ; Pukki 79âČ.
Newcastle United remain winless at the foot of the Premier League table after being pegged back against Norwich City at St.Jamesâ Park.
Eddie Howeâs first home game in charge of the Magpies got off to the worst start when Ciaran Clark was sent off after 12 minutes after being deemed the last man when he pulled down Teemu Pukki.
But the hosts were awarded a penalty after a long VAR check when Billy Gilmour handled Federico Fernandezâs goal-bound header.
Callum Wilson stepped up to slot the spot-kick home despite Tim Krul getting a hand to it.
The Canaries eventually made the man advantage count with 11 minutes to go when Pukki volleyed a thumping effort into the top corner from Dimitris Giannoulisâ cross after Newcastle failed to clear a corner.
Dean Smithâs men almost won it in stoppage time as well when Pierre Lees-Melou ran through on goal but he saw his shot tipped over by Martin DĂșbravka.
Newcastle lie bottom on seven points while Norwich move above Burnley into 18th after reaching the 10-point mark.
