A bad afternoon for new Coach Massimo Oddo’s Milan Futuro. We fell to a 2-1 defeat in the 90th minute in Legnago, at the end of a game that seemed to be heading down the right path in the first half: Omoregbe's opener in the 18th minute and we were left in greater numbers in the 42nd minute as Leoncini was sent off. Then, at the 45-minute mark, Diaby bagged an equaliser and in the final moments, Bombagi converted a penalty, given for a foul by Raveyre, to secure the three points. With this victory, they go level with us in the standings on 22 points. The Rossoneri’s afternoon started off well and with good intentions but the final moments proved fatal.
First the missed chance from Branca, then the counter-attack that led to the penalty for Legnago. These situations highlight, in our boys, still a bit of inexperience in managing the moment: the desire to win the game brought us a defeat, the fourth in a row. When you fall, however, you always get back up again and this team has the necessary qualities to do so. So, we will go again with the home game against Perugia on Saturday 8 March, the first at Chinetti for Coach Oddo. Come on, lads!

MATCH REPORT Milan Futuro struck immediately, which won us a corner in the first moments of the game, Branca took it and we almost took the lead with a good header from Quirini but Perucchini got to it. After a few minutes of testing the waters, in the 18th minute, the Rossoneri took the lead through Omoregbe, who picked up the ball on the edge of our own area and counter-attacked, beating Perucchini. Again Omoregbe, fired up after scoring, got a shot away in the 41st minute after a good link-up with Fall: a powerful shot kept out on the ground by Perucchini. A key episode came in the 42nd minute when Leoncini was shown a red card for a foul on Omoregbe: Legnago were down to 10 men. However, the hosts found the strength to level the score in the second minute of the four added on at the end of the first 45: Diaby stole the ball from Vos and beat Raveyre from just a few steps away. 1-1 at half-time.
Milan Futuro's second half inevitably began on the attack and the first noteworthy chance came in the 58th minute with Mbarick Fall's shot, turning in the box and firing inches wide of the post, with the goalkeeper unmoved and beaten. Two minutes later, Magrassi swung at a cross from the right from Quirini but missed the target. There was an interesting break in the 73rd minute when Alesi sent D'Alessio on a run, who, in front of Perucchini, chose to lay the ball off for Magrassi rather than shoot, losing the chance. Alesi was looking the best and in the 88th minute, caused chaos in the opposition box as his scuffed ball became an assist for Branca who shot wide. At the other end, Raveyre committed a foul: penalty for Legnago. From the spot, Bombagi converted to secure the win in the 90th minute.
