On Monday evening (21/03), the floodlights at Stadion Rote Erde will turn on for one last time in the 3. Liga this season. The U23s will welcome Eintracht Braunschweig to the Strobelallee (19:00 CET), before moving across to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for the final three home games.

"It was an unlucky defeat," said BVB coach Enrico Maassen as he reflected on the 3-1 loss in Würzburg the previous weekend. "We actually had the match under control but conceded the goals too easily," he added. However, the Dortmund boss is already turning his attention forward, with the Dortmund lads next in action again on Monday. They will be hosting fourth-placed Eintracht Braunschweig in Dortmund.

With 27 points, the men from Lower Saxony have the second-best away record and could move up to first place in that category with a victory on Monday. Having won three matches in succession, they suffered a 2-0 loss against direct rivals Saarbrücken last Saturday. Prior to that defeat, coach Michael Schiele's side had been on a six-match unbeaten run.

The home side won the reverse fixture at the Eintracht Stadion 4-2. BVB had the opportunity to level from the penalty spot in the 89th minute of an intense match, but Berkan Taz's spot-kick was saved by goalkeeper Jasmin Fejzic. A few moments later, former Dortmund man Enrique Pena-Zauner made it 4-2 to the hosts.

BVB fans can purchase tickets for Monday evening's match via the Online Ticket Shop and from the ticket office at Stadion Rote Erde.
