Las Palmas have on Wednesday announced the signing of a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga rivals Sevilla.
The player in question? Adnan Januzaj.
Wide-man Januzaj, for his part, was of course long expected to bring his stint on the books of Sevilla to a close this summer.
As much comes after what marked an altogether difficult campaign for the Belgian in Nervión last time out.
After falling heavily out of favour amid a falling out behind the scenes, Januzaj, all told, was afforded a paltry eight appearances, amounting to a total of just over 180 minutes on the pitch.
Still held in high regard in many circles, a number of clubs, in turn, are understood to have expressed a keen interest in bringing the former Manchester United talent in for the campaign ahead.
And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, one such outfit have beaten out the competition to his signature.
As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Las Palmas:
‘Adnan Januzaj joins the yellow team on loan, following an agreement with Sevilla FC and the player, until June 30, 2025.’
