Lars Lukas Mai set for Bayern stay despite numerous loan offers

Lars Lukas Mai will stay at Bayern Munich next season despite numerous loan offers from several Bundesliga clubs.

The 19-year-old made just a couple of cameo appearances in the Bundesliga last season and had hoped to gain more first team experience away from the Allianz Arena this time around.

Howevr, according to TZ he has been told that he will not be going out on loan as Bayern believe that his development will be better served training with the first team.

Düsseldorf and Nurnberg were both thought to be keen on the central defender but he will now stay and fight for a first team place alongside Lucas Hernandez, Niklas Süle and Jerome Boateng.
