A major backer of Barcelona president Joan Laporta says there's several ways they can fund a deal for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
José Elías, owner of the energy group Audax Renovables, was one of the major guarantors of Laporta's candidacy ahead of the presidential election earlier this year,
"I can think of several ideas to sign Haaland. There are many alternatives. As the culé of a football team where the partners are the owners, it occurs to me to make a spill," he suggested on the program Què t'hi jugues.
On Leo Messi's departure for PSG, Elias insists the decision to let him leave was understandable.
He added: “As culé it hurt, but I think the right decision was made. I think we should have anticipated it a year before and made money. We have run out of Messi and without money, it has been silly."
