Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has moved to reveal his appreciation for the efforts of two members of the club’s midfield ranks, en route to victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Barcelona are of course fresh off an evening on the continent which will live long in the memory.

After welcoming German heavyweights Bayern Munich to Catalunya for a Champions League clash, the Blaugrana ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 4-1 result.

The star of the show on the night came in the form of Raphinha, who kept alive what has been a spectacular start to the new season with three of the hosts’ four goals.

Also securing widespread credit post-match, meanwhile, were the likes of Fermín López (two assists) and Lamine Yamal (one assist).

As alluded to above, though, in the aftermath of Wednesday’s clash, the latter of this pair has moved to highlight the endeavours of another two members of Hansi Flick’s squad as ‘the differential factor’ against Bayern.

Speaking to the media at Montjuïc, Lamine Yamal explained:

“I really liked what Pedri and Casadó did. They were the differential factor of the match as well as Raphinha.”
