A new name has entered the record books of El Clásico.
Lamine Yamal made a second-half appearance for Barcelona in their biannual battle with Real Madrid on Saturday.
In doing so, the teenager became the youngest-ever player to feature in the fixture at 16 years and 107 days.
He takes the record from Vicente Martínez, who was 16 years and 278 days old when set the previous feat for Barça in 1941.
Yamal’s Clásico feat is simply the latest in a growing list of personal milestones for the the Spain prodigy this season.
But he could not prevent the visitors from snatching victory courtesy of Jude Bellingham’s stoppage-time strike.
