Someone get Real Madrid an alarm clock.

In five domestic matches this season, they have scored five goals after the 85th minute, against Alavés, Celta Vigo, Levante and now Valencia.

Vinícius Júnior and Karim Benzema struck late at Mestalla to secure an important three points.


🧤 Penalty patrol

Something may have contaminated the Andalusian water because Sevilla incredibly conceded four penalties in one week.

After conceding three against RB Salzburg in the Champions League, they conceded another against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Goalkeeper Bono had the last laugh after becoming the first goalkeeper to save a Mikel Oyarzabal penalty.


🐯 El Tigre is back

What a sight this was. After eight years away from Spanish football, Radamel Falcao is back with a bang.

El Tigre joined Los Franjirrojos earlier this month and scored just 11 minutes after coming on for his debut against Getafe.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

It feels like Unai Emery and Villarreal have taken “if you can’t win the game, don’t lose it” too seriously this season.

The Yellow Submarines have drawn all four of their LaLiga fixtures this season and currently sit in 14th place.

For a number of reasons, Héctor Bellerín declined at Arsenal and needed a change of scenery after eight years in North London.

He already looks transformed after joining Real Betis and assisted Nabil Fékir brilliantly against Espanyol on Saturday.
