The former Liverpool manager was tipped to become Roma’s new head coach.

The article by La Stampa, one of Italy’s leading newspapers, claimed Klopp and Roma had reached a total agreement.

Today, however, the same newspaper reports that Roma have categorically denied this news story.

The club have assured that Klopp is by no means a candidate to lead the team next season.
