Speaking to COPE, La Liga president Javier Tebas has claimed that he has a feeling that Kylian Mbappe has already signed for Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old’s contract with PSG expires at the end of the season and he has informed the French champions that he will be on his way out when that happens.

PSG have seemingly accepted the situation as well, with their manager Luis Enrique hinting at the superstar forward’s departure this past weekend.

Mbappe may have already signed with Real Madrid, says Tebas

Now, La Liga president Tebas, who has never been shy about commenting on the Mbappe to Real Madrid speculations, has claimed that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner may have already signed for the Spanish capital club.

“I have the feeling that Mbappé has signed for Real Madrid,” Tebas told COPE.

On what the Frenchman’s arrival would mean for La Liga, he added: “He’ll be another star in La Liga like [Jude] Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., [Antoine] Griezmann, and [Robert] Lewandowski.”

Talks in final stages

As reported earlier today, negotiations between Mbappe and Real Madrid are in the final stages, with a deal all but agreed upon.

It has been reported that the Frenchman will be earning a salary worth around €19-22 million, along with bonuses, as well as a mammoth signing bonus in excess of €120 million. There will also be a Ballon d’Or clause in his deal worth €15 million.

Despite the hefty investment, Real Madrid will not have to make any sales to accommodate Mbappe on their roster, as they have no problems with their salary cap, Tebas had revealed earlier this month.

“Financially, they are very reactive. At the moment, their financial results are very good and they can spend much more than they spend. Madrid have been very prudent financially and have prepared for the signing of Mbappe,” he had said.

“Their strategy is not short-term. They don’t have to sell anyone to afford Mbappe. They really don’t.”
