However, as reported by 90min, the Galaxy are finalizing a deal to sign Spanish midfielder Riqui Puig from Barcelona, with the 23-year-old having already undergone a medical and agreed terms on a three-year contract.

According to The Athletic, the Galaxy will part ways with Raveloson in order to make way for Puig. It's understood Raveloson - a 20-time Madagascar international - has already flown to France to undergo a medical, with agreements already in place between the club and player and only small details left to work out.

With the MLS secondary transfer window closing on Thursday, an announcement for Puig's transfer is expected imminently, while Raveloson's move shouldn't be too far behind.

Raveloson joins an Auxerre side preparing for life back in the French top-flight after finishing third in Ligue 2 last season, while he leaves the Galaxy ninth in the Western Conference, two points adrift of the MLS Cup Playoffs spots.
