Except for an unexpected turn of events and three failed attempts later, everything indicates that Kylian Mbappé will join Real Madrid this summer when his contract expires in June.
Endrick is one of the footballers who may feel the impact of Kylian Mbappé’s arrival. The Spanish giants aimed to bring in the 17-year-old striker this summer, intending for him to start solidifying himself in the No. 9 position vacated after the sudden departure of Karim Benzema.
On Tuesday, SPORT reported that the plan for Endrick is to gain first-team minutes gradually, akin to Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo’s development.
However, Mbappé’s arrival alters this, casting a long shadow that may overshadow Endrick. Palmeiras has expressed to Real Madrid its wish to extend the teenager’s loan until the Brazilian championship ends in 2024.
Additionally, several La Liga teams have approached Real Madrid regarding a potential loan for the next season, yet Carlo Ancelotti has firmly declined these offers.
The Italian coach holds excellent confidence in Endrick and believes the player will significantly improve alongside Mbappé should the French international join. Therefore, regardless of Mbappé’s decision, Endrick will participate in Real Madrid’s preseason and be integrated into the first team.
