Kylian Mbappe addressed the Paris Saint-Germain fans at Parc des Princes ahead of his side's meeting with Metz in Ligue 1 after the forward signed a new contract at the club.

In front of the 47,000 in attendance, Mbappe confirmed that he is happy to sign a new contract at the Ligue 1 giants.

The forward, after holding up a 'Mbappe 2025' PSG jersey, said: "I’m really happy to continue the adventure here at Paris Saint-Germain. To stay in Paris, my city.

“I hope that I will continue to do what I prefer to with you all…and win titles together! Thanks a lot”.

Mbappe had long been expected to move to Real Madrid as a free agent this summer, having been courted by Los Blancos for a number of years. However, in a shocking turn of events, the French superstar has now committed his future to PSG until 2025.

The forward has enjoyed a wonderful 2021/22 campaign at PSG, winning Ligue 1 player of the year for a third time and scoring very impressive 25 goals in the league. Now Mbappe will be hoping he can guide PSG to further success, particularly in Europe where the club have flattered to deceive in recent seasons.
