Yet more Kylian Mbappe controversy is filtering out of France today with a recent report outlining the split in the Paris Saint-Germain squad caused by the Frenchman.
The 23-year-old hasn’t been far from the headlines since he signed his mega money deal with the Parisian club this past summer.
Under his new terms, Mbappe reportedly received underheard amounts of player power that has since angered his teammates.
And with news breaking earlier this week that Mbappe feels "betrayed" by the board and that his "relationship with the club is broken beyond repair", it seems tensions are only worsening.
As reported by L'Equipe, via The Daily Mail, Mbappe is becoming an increasingly isolated figure in the squad.
His teammates have been growing more unhappy with each passing week about the French star's attitude.
So much so, that now Neymar - who has had various moments of very public tension with Mbappe - and his fellow South American teammates have turned their back on the star amid the reports that he wants out.
Similarly, centre back Marquinhos and the Spanish speakers in the squad are also angry with Mbappe's increased level of power.
The influence of the Spanish contingent has grown in recent times, with many now privately expressing their anger that the Frenchman received such a large portion of control over club matters.
The very obvious split in the squad now means Mbappe retains the support of just four players: Achraf Hakimi, Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Hugo Ekitike.
A sad situation that will likely only increase the probability that we see the superstar on the move this summer.
An insider at the club told the report of Mbappe's fluctuating attitude and the strain it has put on the team.
"One day, he arrives at Camp des Loges, all smiles, jokes and greets everyone, and the next day, he arrives without a word, does not look at anyone. And it's been like that since the beginning of the season."
It's true that Mbappe has cut a frustrated figure for much of the season so far.
Not only has he been publicly critical of Christophe Galtier's tactics after games, but he's also endured the previously mentioned public fallout with Neymar and seems subdued at times when interacting with his teammates on the pitch.
For those reasons, it's not too much of a surprise to hear that he is considering forcing his way out of the club - even taking into consideration the staggering sum of money he's earning there.
But at this rate, it's likely the rest of the PSG squad could be ready to force him out themselves in some kind of never seen before uprising.
Keep one eye on Paris, this one could be about to get ugly.
