Many consider Mbappé to be the next best thing in France and poster boy of PSG, but he was keen to play down his role before talking up the Brazilian.
“The club has chosen,” he told BEIN Sports. “The leader is Neymar. For now at PSG, it’s not a talking point whether I should take this role.

Speaking about his red card against Nîmes, the teenager admits he has to get used to rough treatment from defenders.
“I cracked but I will pass over that. Since the return of the World Cup, I’ve been kicked and fouled every week so I have to get used to it.
“The season is long. But we have a lot of ambition and we want to go down in history. Invincibles? Why not. We can do it.”
Mbappé and Neymar have created a prolific on-pitch partnership under Tuchel, directly contributing to 24 goals this season.
