Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Saturday hit an altogether noteworthy goalscoring mark for the club.

Real are of course locked in action at present, in a La Liga meeting with Real Valladolid.

And, as things stand at the Estadio José Zorrilla, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops find themselves in possession of a slender advantage, on their way to extending the club’s lead atop the Spanish top-flight table.

The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé, meanwhile, was the man responsible for the goal in question.

Exchanging a clever pair of passes with Jude Bellingham, the Frenchman darted in behind the hosts’ defence, before picking out the far corner courtesy of a fine finish.

And, as alluded to above, in the process, Mbappé hit a new goalscoring benchmark.

Despite the widespread criticism to have been aimed in his direction this season, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital has now managed to notch 20 goals in the colours of Real Madrid.
