Kylian Mbappé denies he will influence PSG club strategy | OneFootball

In an interview with Le Parisien published this afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé discussed his decision to renew and stay at the club he has been with for the last 5 seasons.

The French international was notably asked about whether he would have any influence on the club’s strategy, with a director of sport.

“You have to be able to put your faith in people. It would be starting the project off on the wrong foot if the flagship player puts pressure on the director of sport. Everyone must stay in their lane. If the club recruits a new director of sport, it means that they are competent.”

“He’ll need to be given time before Kylian Mbappé is put in his way. But if he wants to speak, I can talk about football for hours. With you or with anyone else. But I won’t influence sales and recruitment, it’s not my job.”
