Kylian Mbappé agrees personal terms with Real Madrid | OneFootball

of The Athletic reports tonight that Kylian Mbappé has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, although Paris Saint-Germain remain hopeful the forward could renew.

With the 23-year-old’s contract expiring in just over a month, and he could now be set to join the club he tried to push a move to last summer.

He has yet to sign any paperwork with Los Blancos. Mbappé’s family were recently in Qatar as his mother, Fayza Lamari, spoke with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Le Parisien had reported that discussions had moved on from the financial terms and instead focused on the project the club was to put in place to win the Champions League.

On accepting his Ligue 1 player of the year award last night, the World Cup winner indicated that he had “almost” made his decision, which would be known before May 28.

The forward had been in Qatar today with the rest of the PSG squad for a promotional training camp, returning to France this evening ahead of the final match of the season next Saturday against Metz.
