Le Parisien report this afternoon that scans today have revealed a toe issue for Kylian Mbappé, who had come off early in the first half in Paris Saint-Germain’s draw against Club Brugge on Wednesday’s Champions League opener.
The tests have, in theory, dismissed the possibility of an ankle injury, as Mauricio Pochettino had alluded to post-game. The club will nevertheless evaluate the situation in the next few days, with an update expected on Friday.
The forward is now a doubt for PSG’s upcoming clash against Lyon on Sunday evening, while midfielder Marco Verratti will remain out with a knee issue.
