Kurt Zouma reveals Paul Pogba's weak spot | OneFootball

Paul Pogba has a vibrant, cheerful personality but apparently there’s one thing that really gets to him: losing at card games.

Pogba’s team-mate with the French national team, Kurt Zouma, told Goal that the Manchester United midfielder absolutely cannot stand losing at Uno, of all things.

In fact, Zouma revealed that Pogba told him he was no longer welcome at Pogba’s house after a recent defeat.

“The other day, I went to his house and beat him. He was so, so, so angry,” Zouma said.

“He didn’t want me to come anymore. He told me: ‘Don’t come anymore to my house.’ ”

Zouma and Pogba played in the same France Under-18 team and even then, Zouma knew his new friend was something special on the pitch.

“I have known him since I was 17,” Zouma explained.

“When I saw him for the first time, I said wow, this guy is going to be one of the best footballers for sure because he was so good already when he was young.””

“Since I saw him for the first time, playing in the [France] U18s against Spain, I knew he was going to be a great player. One of the best. He has got everything, qualities, strong, quick, passing is good, shots, he’s got everything. He’s a very nice player.”

The pair have remained close and with Zouma now on loan from Chelsea at Stoke City, they’re able to see each other fairly often.

“The relationship is good because we talk in French,” Zouma revealed.

“We listen to the same music, he loves to dance and I dance as well. He is always laughing like me and he’s a good guy now. I live maybe 15 minutes away from his house so I go to his house, he comes to my house. He’s a very, very good friend.

Despite their closeness (or maybe because of it), Zouma is not a fan of Pogba’s ever-changing hairstyles.

Zouma said: “You have to say, he loves doing the haircuts, he loves doing that. I told him to stop but he won’t stop, but you know it is good.

“Pogba is one of the best players, he’s got everything, as I said. That’s why people talk about him because he’s so, so good.
