Kulusevski Gets 8, Maddison With 7 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Wolves | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur entertained Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 42nd minute when Joao Gomes scored for the visitors. Tottenham went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Dejan Kulusevski equalised for the visitors in the 46th minute but Joao Gomes scored again for Wolves just after the hour mark. Angelos Postecoglu’s men failed to come up with a response and crashed to a tough 2-1 loss in front of their home fans.

Romero earned the ball back a few times but failed to keep Joao Gomes quiet.

CB: Micky van de Ven – 7/10

He made a few timely interceptions inside his half and was a decent presence on the ball.

LB: Ben Davies – 7/10

Davies was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and was accurate with his passing.

CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 6/10

Sarr struggled to get a foothold in the game and was substituted in the 70th minute.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 7/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction and was dominant in the air. However, his efforts were not enough today.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 8/10

Kulusevski was a constant menace in the final third and did well to score in the 46th minute.

CAM: James Maddison – 7/10

He made two inviting chances in the final third but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
