But Massimiliano Allegri’s men will come up against arguably the in-form striker in Europe right now in Piątek.

The 23-year-old has netted 13 times so far this campaign and has been constantly linked with a move to one of the continent’s grandest clubs.

The man himself though, is just focusing on the next game and facing off against Ronaldo.

“At this moment, I am concentrated only on the game with Juventus. It’ll be very difficult, because we are facing the best team in Italy, but we’ll do everything possible,” the Poland international told reporters.

“They have great players all over the pitch, but Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now and in my view the greatest there has ever been.

“My focus now though is only on Genoa. There are still so many games to go this season and I am concentrated on them. I love the Genoa fans.”

Another goal for Piątek would take him one closer to Gabriel Batistuta’s record of netting in his first 12 games in Italian football.
