Kristjan Asllani is the favourite to replace Marcelo Brozovic in the Inter midfield for the match against AS Roma on Saturday evening, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia, via FCInternews, the Albanian youngster is set to get his first ever start for the Nerazzurri and it will be in a very big game.

Kristjan Asllani has played less than a half of football for Inter since his move from Empoli in the summer but now it seems like he will be getting a fair crack at Marcelo Brozovic’s position. The Croatian midfielder got injured whilst on international duty and he is set to miss a handful of matches.

He has been signed to be the eventual successor to Marcelo Brozovic but he is set to get an early chance to prove himself to Simone Inzaghi and the rest of the Inter hierarchy.
