The Croatian international played 82 games for Eintracht overall, registering two goals and two assists, and was part of the Eagles team that made history by winning the UEFA Europa League in 2022. He also appeared in all eight of Eintracht’s UEFA Champions League games in 2022/23.

Jakic spent the second half of last season on loan at FC Augsburg, where he recorded two goals and an assist in 14 appearances. Augsburg have now triggered a clause to sign him on a permanent basis.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Kristijan Jakic played a major role in our success, particularly in our Europa League win in 2022. We wish him all the best for the future.”
