Roma have confirmed that Kostas Manolas has joined Napoli in a deal worth €36m.
The 28-year-old has signed a five year deal at Stadio San Paolo and his arrival could see Amadou Diawara moving in the opposite direction to Roma for €21m.
Manolas spent five years at Roma and was linked with the likes of AC Milan, Juventus and Arsenal this summer. He famously scored the goal which clinched a dramatic comeback against Barcelona in the 2018 Champions League quarter-final.
His arrival in Naples is likely to trigger the departure of Raul Albiol, who is reportedly on the brink of a move to Villarreal.
