Kortrijk bring in Nantes’ Hattian defender on loan until the end of the season | OneFootball

Kortrijk have announced the signing of 27-year-old defender Jean-Kevin Duverne from Ligue 1 side Nantes. The Hattian defender has joined the side on loan until the end of the season and the club will hope he can help them avoid relegation to the Belgian second tier. There is no purchase option included as part of the deal. Duverne is under contract with Nantes until 2027. He can play at either full-back or in central defence.

Duverne has only made 10 appearances for Nantes this season, compared to the 20 he made last campaign. He joined the side from Brest in the summer of 2023, having made 121 appearances for the side and scoring twice. Prior to playing for Brest he had spent a few seasons with Lens, where he had made his senior debut. He played 102 times for the Lens senior side, scoring once. Previously a French youth international, Duverne switched his allegiance to Haiti and has represented the country at international level.
