Kolo Toure backs Brendan Rodgers to make Leicester great again

Kolo Toure has backed Brendan Rodgers to turn Leicester into “one of the best in England” ahead of his first full season.

Toure left Celtic along with Rodgers in February to take charge of the Foxes and despite only being there for a few months, really galvanised the club in the second part of the campaign.

Now, ahead of pre-season, the former centre-back has claimed that the King Power outfit can achieve wild amounts of success together.

“I’m very excited to work with such a top, young manager – one of the best in the world right now,” Toure told LCFCQ magazine.

“He is a great leader, he’s a great coach as well.

“He has a vision for the club, which is very important. He wants to bring the club to a better level and he wants the club to be one of the best in England.”
