PSG had already maxed out the number of players they are able to send out on loan to foreign clubs at one given time (six), which means they had to either sell, recall or terminate the contract of one of their current first team loanees.

According to multiple reports, the Parisians have now agreed to terminate Juan Bernat’s contract, which allows him to join Villarreal on a permanent deal, and also clears up a slot for PSG to send another player out on loan.
