Koeman thinks Barcelona lacks efficiency and decisiveness

Barcelona managed to win narrowly against Huesca on Sunday. After the win, Ronald Koeman spoke to the media and explained his thoughts on the game. Barcelona had a decent first half, where Huesca suffocated and eventually Frenkie de Jong managed to score a great goal.
“In the first half, we played well. We controlled the game and we created chances. We tried to score the second goal to finish off the game, but unfortunately, we had no luck.”“The players lack efficiency and decisiveness in front of goal.“We lack someone who can score and create chances inside the box.”Ronald Koeman | Post-Match Press conference (via Barça TV+)
Koeman was also asked about benching Antoine Griezmann, who hasn’t had a great run at the Catalan club so far. With Griezmann’s form, the Dutch coach had every reason to bench him. Ousmane Dembélé, his replacement, did great to unlock the defence.
“I have no comments regarding putting Griezmann on the bench. There are many games to be played and we will need all players available.”“Dembélé is a skilled player who can penetrate through the centre. If he continues like this he will be a starter for sure.”Ronald Koeman | Post-Match Press Conference
