FC Köln have officially been relegated from the Bundesliga.
Stefan Ruthenbeck’s men lost 3-2 to Freiburg, confirming their position at the bottom of the table.

Hamburg, one place above them in 17th, secured a hard-fought 3-1 win over Wolfsburg, meaning Die Geißböcke are eight points from safety with just two games to go.
It’s a dramatic fall from grace for the RheinEnergie Stadion side, who last term finished in 5th place and entered the Europa League.
Their last season in 2.Bundesliga was the 2013/14 campaign.
