Streak: Borussia Dortmund are unbeaten in seven Bundesliga matches and have won each of their last four games. They are both new season records for BVB. For the first time this season, BVB have won two away games in succession (previously in Sinsheim).
Run: Julian Brandt has been directly involved in five goals in his last three Bundesliga games (two goals, three assists) and has a total of 14 scorer points this season (five goals, nine assists). Goal-getter Serhou Guirassy is BVB's only player with more.
Personal record: Gregor Kobel saved nine of the Werkself's shots at goal, some of them in outstanding fashion. In the process, the Swiss equalled his personal record: Kobel also saved nine shots in VfB Stuttgart's 2-0 defeat in Leipzig in the 2020/21 season, when he was still with the Swabian outfit.
Provider: Pascal Groß has assisted a goal in each of the last three matches and is Borussia's best provider overall in this Bundesliga season (10 assists).
Goal-getter: Serhou Guirassy has scored for Borussia Dortmund in four consecutive Bundesliga games for the first time and has 20 goals this season. That makes him the top scorer in the league after Harry Kane. The Dortmund player's tally of 13 goals in the second-half season is four more than any other player.
Historic: It was Guirassy's 63rd goal on his 100th Bundesliga appearance. Only six players have scored as many or more goals in their first 100 matches, including two other Dortmund players. Timo Konietzka (72 goals), Dieter Müller, Uwe Seeler (both 66), Roy Makaay, Lothar Emmerich (both 64) and Rudolf Brunnenmeier (also 63).
Impressive: Having scored twice from the bench against Wolfsburg last weekend, Karim Adeyemi claimed the assist for the opening goal and scored to make it 3-1 in Leverkusen. He has amassed 13 scorer points this season. That's already a new personal record for him for a complete Bundesliga campaign.
Defender: Julian Ryerson scored his seventh Bundesliga goal in a BVB shirt (his second this season); he has scored six of them in away matches. He has found the net in both of the last two away matches in Leverkusen.
