Jürgen Klopp has been speaking to the media ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Leicester on Saturday.
And he had plenty to talk about …
“Fabinho will not be available for Leciester. He suffered another little muscle issue and will be out for this game.
“I really don’t know (if he can play RB Leipzig). We will see.”
“Jamie Vardy is obviously a proper challenge, the way he gets set up by his team-mates, but you can only do it with the whole team. You have to avoid the passes to him. Jamie is a world class player in a specific area of the pitch.
“We’ve had some sessions together where we could work with this defensive setup but we have other players available.”
“We are in it together. There is nothing to worry about, we are not pointing the finger at each other. There is nothing bad to say about the atmosphere but we are not flying, but it’s a completely fine mood.
“It’s normal if you don’t get results week in week out that a few things drop.
“Rhythm is difficult when you have to keep bringing players in. I saw a very confident team v Man City which is one of most difficult games in the world.
“The only thing you really can do is to fight through a situation like this. Nobody will help you. You have to work for all the situations, defend and attack on the highest level.
“There are a lot of good signs in the last few weeks that shows me we aren’t too far away.”
“I couldn’t respect Brendan’s work more. The job he is doing and they are doing is really really good.
“They had some injury problems too and came through properly and are now a real competitor.”
“Of course we had a little talk. He wasn’t happy it happened. It’s rare that a keeper of the calibre of Alisson Becker makes a mistake. There was absolutely no real criticism from our side because everyone knows how good he is.”
“He had a hamstring, a slightly bigger one. He is not training with the team yet.
“Diogo is close, but not as close as Naby. He is on the pitch as well. In rehab you have to train really intense before you get into team training.
“Diogo, two-to-three weeks maybe. That’s kind of possible. Back in full training maybe and then see how long it takes.
