Kingsley Coman is set to stay at Bayern Munich despite proposals and approaches from clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The French international had looked set to move away from Bavaria this summer, with Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League looking like the most likely destination.
As reported by GGFN, Al-Hilal offered €40m for the winger.
Bayern have made it clear that they don’t want to push Coman out of the door but would be willing to let him go should he wish this transfer window.
The arrival of Michael Olise this summer means that Coman has dropped down the pecking order at Bayern. Offloading the Frenchman would free up not only funds to invest further down the line but also help reduce the wage bill at the club. Leon Goretzka is also in a similar situation to Coman.
However, any potential deal that would see Coman depart is now off the table. The winger is willing to stay at Bayern and earn his place in the starting XI under new head coach Vincent Kompany.
