Kingsley Coman has opened up on a fear of his which he has used to help Bayern Munich in some important moments in recent months.

The French winger scored a vital equaliser to ensure the Bundesliga league leaders avoided defeat in the 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen.

The 24-year-old will be remembered more fondly by supporters for his winning goal in the Champions League final against PSG in August.

There was a striking similarity with both goals which are unusual in the eyes of Coman, because they were both scored with his … head.

Coman admitted in an interview with UEFA.com that heading the ball is a weakness and in fact, a fear of his.

“I’m always afraid of heading. Always.

“It’s instinctive, it’s a natural reflex. I always try to keep my eyes open, but at the last moment I always have this reflex.”

Coman has scored three goals in his six appearances so far this season to help Bayern sit top of the Bundesliga table.
