As reported by Kicker, Kingsley Coman is likely to miss Bayern Munich’s game against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Friday night.

The Frenchman suffered a torn hamstring on September 9 prior to their league game against Stuttgart. Coman has trained individually but is yet to resume team training.

Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco), Alphonso Davies (Canada) and Sadio Mané (Senegal) were also missing from training on Wednesday but the trio are expected back on Thursday, however they will only have one session to prepare for their game against Gerardo Seoane’s Leverkusen.

In other news, speaking to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has defended Mané with the Senegalese forward failing to score in their last four Bundesliga games.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side are currently five points behind leaders Union Berlin after seven games. They have though won both of their Champions League games against Inter and Barcelona, both 2-0.
