Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has been cleared to return to action despite suffering an injury whilst on international duty with France.

Coman went down with an ankle problem during training and was forced to sit out the session, with concerns growing over his repeated spells out injured.

But the 24-year-old allayed those fears, revealing to Sportbild that it was a “light hit” and it’s “not too bad”.

Bayern are already missing Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich long-term, so losing Coman would have been another blow for Hansi Flick.

But the former Juventus frontman is expected to continue with France before returning to Bavaria next week, ahead of their fixture against Werder Bremen.
