With one of the least productive attacks in the entire league, the Chivas must put on their shooting boots if they want to qualify for the Liguilla.
At the moment, Chivas are in eighth place (12 teams make the Liguilla this season), having scored just 10 goals through 11 games. That figure ranks 14th out of 18 teams in Liga MX thus far.
However, Chivas are currently in the Liguilla places thanks to their outstanding defence, which has only conceded nine goals – tied for the second-best mark in Mexico’s top-flight.
In the recent Clásico de Clásicos, they generated little offence, which is an issue that should concern Vucetich as the rojiblancos have been shut out in six of their 11 matches this season.
With only four points separating Chivas from the unlucky 13th-placed spot (currently occupied by Querétaro), they need to act fast before they miss out on a valuable post-season opportunity.
