Pogba has been tightlipped on the transfer speculation swirling around him going into France's Euro 2020 campaign, insisting his total focus is on Les Blues and their bid to add European success to their 2018 World Cup triumph.

Kimpembe says the PSG talk has only been for the cameras and is adamant no-one has been talking about transfer rumours inside the camp.

Indeed, he insists the TV play has all been light-hearted fun, stating at a France presser, via Le 10 Sport: "I didn't discuss it with him. He's a big boy, he doesn't need anyone to make up his mind. Any club would be happy to welcome him.

"It only depends on him, his agent and his future club."

Kimpembe says Pogba has the respect of the entire France squad, declaring United's No6 a dressing room leader, without the need of the captain's armband.

He continued: "We also know his talent as a natural leader. When we have to speak, he is not going to say govern, he does so naturally.

"He always speaks at the right times."

France open their Euro 2020 campaign on Tuesday against Germany.
