Over the weekend, Kilmarnock star Alan Power made headlines around Europe for his challenge on Ryan Jack.

Power managed to kick the Rangers midfielder in the head and somehow only received a yellow card from referee Alan Muir for the incident below.

Though the SFA compliance officer Clare Whyte could have cited Power for the incident, the 30-year-old escaped retroactive punishment for his actions, much to the chagrin of Rangers supporters.

As a result, Power is now free to face leaders Celtic on Sunday.

Last week, Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos had his appeal against his red card against Aberdeen dismissed and was forced to serve a three-match ban.

Earlier that afternoon, Alan McGregor had been banned for two matches for a studs-up challenge on Lewis Ferguson in the same match.
