Kilian Belazzoug signs pro deal with Stade Rennais
Kilian Belazzoug has signed his first professional contract with Stade Rennais on Thursday, June 26, 2025. The Breton club has officially announced the deal, which ties the player to his boyhood club until June 2028.
Stade Rennais continues its policy of promoting homegrown talent by awarding a professional contract to Kilian Belazzoug. Born in July 2006, this 1.97-meter-tall goalkeeper joined the Rennes academy at U15 level after spells with CS Villetaneuse and JA Drancy. Since his arrival, the Algerian-born shot-stopper has progressed through the ranks, establishing himself as one of the most promising talents of his generation. Last season, Belazzoug featured in twelve matches for the U19s, recording five clean sheets.
“Kilian’s signing reflects the club’s commitment to trusting goalkeepers developed within our Academy. He has outstanding qualities and stands out for his physical attributes. The goal for him now is to gradually integrate into the professional squad rotation,” said Loïc Désiré, Sporting Director of Stade Rennais F.C.
