Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has confirmed that he expects to be without forward Chieo Ogbene for some time after he was stretchered off against Brentford.

The summer signing from Luton Town was carried off with 10 minutes left to play in the first half on Saturday as his side fell to a 4-3 loss at the G-Tech stadium.

And after the game, McKenna confirmed the Tractor Boys' worst fears.

“It is a bad one. We think he's torn his Achilles. We'll need to see, but he's going to be out for a period of time", the Ipswich boss explained.

With Omari Hutchinson also missing against Brentford, McKenna's attacking ranks are thinning quickly.
