Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to return for Napoli against Sassuolo | OneFootball

Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is now likely to return for the side against Sassuolo in their Serie A game later today.

The Georgian was missing from the first game of the season but the Partenopei didn’t miss him, as they managed to beat newly promoted Frosinone 3-1, with Victor Osimhen grabbing a brace.

Sky Italia state today that Kvaratskhelia will be back against Sassuolo and the outlet expects the Georgian to start. The winger had sustained a minor injury during Napoli’s pre-season friendly against Spanish side Girona earlier this month but he is now set to return.

Osimhen will start upfront, with new signing Natan yet to make his first start for the club and Amir Rrahmani to be partnered by Juan Jesus at the back. Jens Cajuste had featured against Frosinone but Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa will return for the game against the Neroverdi, having recovered from an injury he picked up some weeks ago.
