PSG’s second-choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas (36) is currently uninterested in a move to Saudi outfit Al-Nassr, RMC Sport are reporting. The three-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid is being seriously considered by Cristiano Ronaldo’s new team as Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina has suffered a fractured elbow. Navas has only played one game with Les Parisiens this season, a Coupe de France tie win against third-tier Châteauroux (3-1). This is an unsustainable situation for the Costa Rican goalkeeper, who believes he is still able to perform at the highest level.
If Navas were to snub a reunion with former Real Madrid teammate Ronaldo, his plan would be to leave PSG and join a top European league. RMC Sport add that Navas’ situation is being closely monitored by English outfits. Navas joined PSG from Real Madrid in 2019 for a €15m fee, one year after Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois’ arrival in the Spanish capital.
