A leading member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Sevilla looks set to sit out the club’s post-international break return to action this weekend.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Loïc Badé as the player in question.
The name of defender Badé has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Seville over the course of the last couple of days.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the 24-year-old had been sent home by the French national medical team, owing to a fitness concern.
Badé, in turn, touched back down in Spain on Sunday, since undergoing a round of scans on his right leg.
And as much, as per a statement across Sevilla’s website and social media, have unveiled a ‘mild hamstring injury’:
“Loïc Badé has been diagnosed with a mild injury to the hamstrings of his right thigh. The French centre-back, who had to leave the training camp with the French national team suffering from this ailment, is now in Seville and working on his recovery under the supervision of the club’s medical services.”
As per the aforementioned MD, though his injury is not a serious one, Badé is nevertheless expected to sit out Sevilla’s La Liga meeting with Getafe this coming Saturday.
