A leading summer transfer target on the part of La Liga giants Real Madrid is being increasingly pushed towards a move to England, with Manchester United.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points to Leny Yoro as the player in question.
The name of defender Yoro has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital for some time now.
This comes amid widespread confirmation that the French sensation has been earmarked as a priority signing by the Real Madrid brass.
On the lookout for a long-term replacement for the departed Nacho, Yoro, at just 18, is viewed as a player capable of manning the heart of the Spanish champions’ backline for years to come.
All of a Real persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be concerned to hear that the stopper is currently being pushed in an altogether different direction.
As per transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Lille president is pushing for Yoro to join Man United after official bid accepted for €50m plus add-ons last week.’
The final decision, however, is considered as being with Yoro himself.
The teenage talent remains firmly intent on linking up with Real Madrid, but now requires Los Blancos to do their part, by tabling an offer of their own for his signature.
